Museums & Galleries
The area museums feature rare and treasured finds. Spend hours at our art galleries, exploring pieces of American history and discovering new artists full of talent and creativity. Some great museums and galleries to go to include R.W. Norton Art Gallery, Shreveport Water Works Museum, Louisiana State Exhibit Museum, Southern University Museum of Art and Sci-Port to name a few.
The experiences a visitor can have at the nearly 30 museums and galleries are as varied as the attractions themselves. Many have gift shops and some dining areas. Finding world class exhibits is so easy. Just check out Meadows Museum of Art, Karpeles Manuscript Museum, and Artspace.
