Festivals & Annual Events
Shreveport-Bossier City loves a good party. We celebrate everything from the crawfish to poke salad. Festivals abound here nearly year round with Mardi Gras kicking things off. An estimated 500,000 people come from all around to enjoy all the trappings of the two-weekend Mardi Gras celebration.
Some popular festivals and events include: Louisiana Redbud Festival (March), Barksdale Air Force Base Air Show (May), Mudbug Madness Festival (May), Sunflower Trail and Festival (June), Riverblast (July) and Red River Revel Arts Festival (October). December on the Red rounds out the year with great holiday attractions, exhibits and events.
