Academy of Children'sTheatre

The Academy of Children's Theatre is a local community theatre that offers weekly classes and puts on vibrant shows. ACT allows all students to participate in all shows throughout the year. ACT produces two main stage musicals and at least one drama per year.

ACT also travels annually to competitions nationwide. The community theatre starts taking children at the age of 5 by audition only for younger students. Third grade and up are not required to audition.

The Academy of Children's Theatre will produce "Sound of Music" May 1-3,8-10 at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on Centenary College campus. Possible holdovers May 4&11.
