Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park
Enjoy 5 miles of beautiful hiking trails through pine-oak-hickory forest. A visitor center offers 3 rooms of interactive nature exhibits and live animals. Visitors can also have a close encounter with a captive white-tailed deer and visit the bird of prey aviary to view live raptors, including a bald eagle. Park Nautralists are always available to provide park orientation and information. The park is managed by the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department to connect the people of the Ark-La-Tex with nature through interpretation and recreation.
