The Barnwell Garden & Art Center has a unique Shreveport location with charm, history and a spectacular water view on the Red River. We are situated against the magnificent backdrops afforded by skylines of the twin cities of Shreveport-Bossier showcasing the famed Texas Street Neon Bridge and the Louisiana Boardwalk.
At the Barnwell Center you'll find visual exhibitions, art classes and a domed botanical garden featuring tropical plants. We are also home to ...the store at the Barnwell Center, a fine crafts gallery featuring one of a kind contemporary handmade works created by imaginative and skilled artisians from across the state. ...the store at the Barnwell Center is one of only three galleries in the state showcasing works from the Louisiana Craft Guild .
