Bill Cockrell Metro Park and Community Center
Cockrell, an Atlas Processing Company official, was a four-term Caddo Parish Police Juror, having served more than fourteen years. He served two terms each as President and Vice President of the body. His old district 9 in west Shreveport is now District 12 and stretches north to Cross Lake, west to the Texas state line and south to the parish line.
