Airport Park Community Center
The facility consists of a full indoor
basketball court, swimming pool, meeting rooms, kitchen, game room,
arts & crafts room, senior domino room, computer room, large class
room, exercise room, weight room, six (6) tennis courts, two (2)
softball fields, a playground area, walking & jogging trail, one
(1) 52" and two (2) 42" LCF flat screen televisions with surround sound.
Airport Park is one of Shreveport's largest Community Centers and a
primary gathering place for the local community. It is an excellent
place to enjoy the many exciting programs that are offered daily.
Located in the Mooretown area of Shreveport, near the Shreveport Regional
Airport. The Airport Park Community Center was dedicated to the
citizens of Shreveport for their use and enjoyment on October 29, 1986.
Since its first opening, Airport Park continues to serve the community
in many capacities.
