Louisiana State Exhibit Museum
The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum opened in 1939 as part of the Works Progress Administration. The monumental circular structure houses dioramas that depict scenes of Louisiana agriculture, industry and natural history. Artistic murals complement the exhibits and historical displays. The Native American Collection is the most extensive in the state.Hours
