Incredible desserts and sweet treats (including home-churned ice cream and gluten-free favorites) by in-house pastry chef, Jodie Gharbi, complement Tea Room-style lunches and Wine Bar accented dinners (to be shared or enjoyed by yourself), created under the aegis of Twine founder and foodie, Rick Rose.
Louisiana Sunday Soul Brunch is served from 11 am to 2 pm with live gospel music often accompanying a Southern fusion menu of offerings.
Fresh salads, seasonal soups, and Twinewich signature sandwiches define lunches from 11 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday.
Twine opens for evening cork, cocktail and culinary adventures at 4 pm Monday through Saturday with a generous Twine Time Happy Hour til 8 pm. The kitchen serves full fare dinners from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 5 pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday
Pastries, coffees and loose leaf teas from around the world are offered throughout the day. A community library and library libations to match are available during all hours and times. Live music fills the air at least once a month, if not twice. Original art by local and international creators accent the walls and changes out with frequency. A private wine room and tea room are available for romantic meals and small groups. Gallery space is available for business lunches and private parties during the day or evening, for groups as large as 50. Catering and pastries, including phenomenal cakes and cheese cakes, are available with advance arrangements.
Events including the Haunted Shreveport Tours & Dinners and the Movie and Historic Tours & Dinners and live performances from one-person shows, to poetry readings to opera singing, wine nights, cooking classes and an occasional meet, greet and dine with Miss Louisiana and even Miss America prove that Twine Shreveport is more than the ordinary dining experience.
