G&S presents community theatricals, in particular the Gilbert & Sullivan "Savoy Operas." Since staging The Mikado as part of the Holiday in Dixie celebration in 1971, G&S has been among the leaders in the Gulf Coast region of the United States in preserving the witty and tuneful collection of theater works created by Sir William Gilbert & Sir Arthur Sullivan.
