Shreveport Regional Arts Council

The Shreveport Regional Arts Council is the officially designated local arts agency representing the City of Shreveport and the Louisiana Division of the Arts for Northwest Louisiana. The purpose of the Council is to enrich the quality of life within the region through the presentation, nurturing, development and promotion of all the arts. The Shreveport Regional Arts Council provides educational and information services to the artists, artistic organizations, and citizens in the region.

From I-20: take the Common Street Exit and make the first left onto Fairfield; The first right on Baker Street; at stop sign turn right and SRAC is your first parking lot on the right (yellow brick building with blue awning)

Programs administered by SRAC include: ArtBreak, annually in the Spring, the largest festival of, by and for students in the South showcasing the artwork created by students in Caddo and Bossier Parish Public Schools; Artspace: an arts gallery that is the center for the production and presentation of multi-disciplinary arts featuring regular education programming; and Christmas in the Sky: biennial, internationally award-winning gala event.
