artspace
artspace is a 3-level historic building that is a flexible, open space for the creation, presentation and production of all arts disciplines. It is to be experienced by multi-generational audiences.
artspace features thematic, interactive exhibitions that change every 8 weeks on the mainspace. In addition, there are regional artists showing on the coolspace. There are also innovative programs; arts classes, workshops and demonstrations. The Anderson Family Fun-A-Torium educational space features hands-on multi-disciplinary activities. The cafe @ artspace is a culinary arts delight featuring fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, specializing in a variety of salads, wraps and sandwiches, including the ever-popular Reuben done the artspace way. Each week also features special entrees and soups that are themed to the current exhibit and created by our chef. The cafe @ artspace is open each weekday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and has easily accessed parking.
The Artistic Director for artspace is William Joyce, award-winning author, illustrator and filmaker (Robots, Meet the Robinsons, Rolie Polie Olie).
